Top Pitching Prospect Dies At 16

Bri Matthews, a sophomore pitcher at Mater Dei High School,CA who just a few months ago verbally committed to the University of Arizona, died Thursday night Feb. 25th, but details of her death have not been released according to a story in the Orange County Register.

This is a true tragedy to the softball community and may the Lord be with the Matthews family!!
